At El Costenito Restaurant, the fact that you can see us, talk to us, and know where your money goes matters. We're on Market Street in Passaic, and every dish that comes out of our kitchen is made fresh with the traditional recipes and handmade tortillas that authentic Mexican food demands. Our pozole, mole poblano, picaditas, tamales, and caldos are prepared the way they should be... with real ingredients, real time, and real care. From our cecina asada and bistec a la mexicana served with rice, beans, and handmade tortillas to our camarones a la diabla and coctel de camarón, every plate reflects the flavors we grew up with. We also serve champurrado, atole, and café de olla because the drinks matter just as much as the food. As Gail J. shared, "Everything we have ordered is freshly made and delicious. The pozole is my absolute favorite. This hidden gem deserves the spotlight." Families come in weekly because they trust what we make, and new customers keep discovering us and coming back for more.
